A programme of cross-curricular workshops designed for children & young people.

Based on the principles of Architecture, sustainability and sociology - LiTTLE ARCHITECT CIC aims to inspire curiosity, encourage creativity and expand the imaginations of our young people.

Why Architecture?

Architecture encompasses a wide range of subject areas from arts and crafts, to science, geography, sociology and PSED (personal, social and emotional development). Not to mention the intrinsic links to numeracy, literacy and communication.

The possibilities for cross-curriculum links to architectural-based projects/activities are endless.

The language of Architecture is universal: on a global scale. We are fascinated by the possibility of expanding the minds of young people by other introducing them to other cultures and communities - with an Architectural project as the basis.

“There are a whole lot of things in this world you haven’t started wondering about yet”.

Roald Dahl / James and the Giant Peach

Why take part?

Through this programme, children and young people will have the opportunity to engage with an Architectural professional, create something meaningful, whilst developing a transferable skill-set; all of which will equip them for a creative future.

Most importantly, children will have a unique and imaginative experience (+ lots of fun!).
